Aquaculture Investor Day

Arion Bank held its first Aquaculture investor day on the 10th of March.
The event was received with high interest and was well attended.

In the meeting several aquaculture companies in Iceland, including Arnarlax, presented their operation, with CEO of Arion Bank, Benedikt Gíslason,
Odd Eliasen, COO of Feed in Bakkafrost and Árni Mathiesen from the Icelandic Ocean Cluster also presenting.

The addresses where followed by a panel discussion on the status and future of this new important sector in Iceland.

It was a pleasure to see both the interest shown in the event along with the the good variety of interesting companies that are now participating in the buildup of the Icelandic Aquaculture industry.

Björn Hembre, our CEO, introduced Arnarlax and discussed opportunities in the industry and the operational effects of internal processes and controls, implemented in recent years.
