Arnarlax at NASF 2025: Focus on optimizing operations to unlock the future potential

Last week at this year’s North Atlantic Seafood Forum (NASF), our CEO, Björn Hembre, shared Arnarlax’s progress, vision, and strategy for the future.

Optimizing for the Future

Reflecting on a challenging year of 2024, the presentation highlighted our production and adjustments to turn around the biological challenges that we dealt with in the first half of 2024, reinforcing our commitment to responsible aquaculture.

Efficiency across the value chain—from smolt production to logistics—remains key to competitiveness. The industry’s future also hinges on Iceland’s evolving aquaculture legislation, expected for final approval in late 2025. While offering opportunities, it also brings uncertainties, especially in taxation and regulations. We continue advocating for fair, competitive conditions.

Smolt & Post-Smolt Advancements

With 70% of production now is post-smolt, we are enhancing growth control, survival rates, and fish welfare.

Sales & Logistics

Arnarlax ensures efficient global deliveries, leveraging Iceland’s strategic location, the Icelandic origin, good product quality and commitment to sustainability.

Looking Ahead

We remain focused on growth, innovation, and sustainability, ensuring premium Icelandic salmon reaches the world.

Thank you to everyone who engaged with us at NASF 2025!
