ASC re-certification at Arnarfjörður farming sites
During the week 15 – 19th of November a re-certification process audit for Hringsdalur, Haganes and Steinanes will be made by a third party.
ASC (Aquaculture stewardship council) certifies environmentally and socially responsible seafood which confirms that certified farmsites is farming salmon in a responsible way against the environment and community. Arnarlax undergoes an extensive certification process and meet many requirements to get certified.
