Icelandic Salmon – Annual Report 2025

Icelandic Salmon AS has today published its integrated Annual Report for 2025, including sustainability reporting and complete annual accounts with notes.

The report is attached below and available on the following website: https://arnarlax.is/investors/

“The year 2025 was a year where Icelandic Salmon faced many challenges, resulting in a disappointing financial result. The main reason for this was an outbreak of Bacterial Kidney Disease (BKD) on the 2023-generation. The increased mortality led to earlier harvesting for fish welfare reasons, resulting in a lower average harvest weight. The accelerated harvest, combined with historically low market prices during the same period, had a significant negative impact on the Group’s financial results.” said Bjørn Hembre, CEO of Icelandic Salmon.

In Bjørn’s letter, included in the report, he highlights that there are many positive signs looking ahead, where improved biology, all time high biomass in sea going into year 2026 and reduced cost level are key elements. The volume guidance for 2026 is 21,300 tonnes, which will be an increase of 67 per cent from year 2025. So, it looks in many ways that 2026 will be a year for recovery.
