Update on licence Application process for Isafjardardjup

Icelandic Salmon AS, the holding company of the Icelandic farming company Arnarlax ehf. and a subsidiary of Salmar ASA has taken another step towards additional 10.000 tons of MAB (Maximum Allowed Biomass) in farm licences in Ísafjarðardjúp in the West Fjords of Iceland following the release of The Icelandic Planning Agencies opinion on Arnarlax’s ehf. assessment report.

Following the verdict from the Icelandic Planning Agency, the application goes to the Icelandic Food and Veterinary Authority and The Environment Agency of Iceland for final framework evalution and steps towards new operating licences.
