New license in Patreksfjörður & Tálknafjörður

On the 28th of August, the Food and Veterinary Authority and the Environmental Agency issued a license for 10.700 T production in Patreksfjordur and Talknafjordur, eleven months after the license where revoked by the Environmental and Natural Resources Board of Appeal.

Soon after the license was revoked, the Icelandic government stepped in and issued provisional license while the technical issues regarding the environmental assessment process was fixed.

Now Fjarðalax holds a 10.700 T production license (12.200 T maximum biomass) in Patreksfjörður & Tálknafjörður and the licence is valid until 2029
