Purchase of remaining shares of Eldisstöðin Ísþór approved by Icelandic Competition Authorities

The purchase for the remaining 50% of shares in Eldisstöðin Ísþór smolt facility in Þorlákshöfn was on the 2nd of August approved by the Icelandic Competition Authorities (ICA). With the approval Arnarlax can now finalize the transaction becoming the sole owner of Eldisstöðin Ísþór hf.

The purchase is an important step in the strategy of increased smolt weight and will allow increased MAB license utilization while reducing production time in sea and thereby biological risk.

No external financing will be required for the finalization of the transaction.
