The Icelandic Chefs Association and Arnarlax have reached an agreement

The Icelandic Chefs Association and Arnarlax have reached an agreement regarding a matter that arose in the aftermath of a cooperation agreement between the Icelandic Culinary Team and Arnarlax. The Chefs Association, that manages the Culinary Team and their projects, decided in a formal meeting, where this course of events was discussed, that the members of the Association would conclude a settlement with Arnarlax that both parties have now signed.

The Icelandic Chefs Association regrets that Arnarlax has been unfairly criticized because of this matter. Farmed salmon is used all over the world and is a first-class material and one might mention that comparable product is used at the Culinary World Cup in Luxembourg and other respectable events.

The discussions that occurred in regard to the cooperation agreement was, however, of another kind.

The Icelandic Chefs Association states in this regard that the Association’s assertion, that it did not receive any payments from Arnarlax in due time, was based on misunderstanding and we offer Arnarlax our apologies for the inconvenience this might have caused.
